Make sure you budget for captions and subtitles.
Don't make the mistake of thinking you can do this yourself or just ask a friend to translate for you. Netflix, iTunes, Amazon, Google, and others have very specific standards, and we can't begin to tell you how many rejected caption and subtitle files we have been asked to "rescue". In the end, it costs the film creator many times what it would have cost to use a professional agency in the first place.
